AI is everywhere nowadays, but what does that actually mean for art and creativity? During Kunstweek Warmond 2025, I put together a workshop where we explore the influence of artificial intelligence: from the hype to the impact on people and the environment. Afterwards, we got hands-on with vibe coding: an accessible way to create art together with an AI, without needing to know how to program. In the workshop, you learn how to bring your own digital artwork to life by simply describing what you want in words.

During the workshop, we discussed questions such as:

• What is creativity actually?
• Can computers be creative?
• Is AI art really art? (and when is art even art?)
• The often problematic influence of the AI hype on our society and the environment

My explicit goal is not to glorify the technology, but rather to approach it in a rather critical, yet playful way.
