This piece draws inspiration from a peculiar dream I had in the past. It portrays the journey of a lost soul along a metal grate, with the aim of reaching a particular endpoint within a twisted representation of the afterlife. However, the endpoint remains elusive; can it ever be reached?
A drawing depicting what is probably a broken sceptre? Maybe a meat arrow? I don't even, I'm bad at naming things. Someone could probably use it for a weird experimental album cover though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Text i posted at the time: My god this one was a hassle to make. I think I planned to release this drawing about two weeks ago, but that didn't work out ;-; It was a lot more work than I anticipated, and I also made a lot of mistakes along the way. For instance, I somehow mirrored the hands (thumbs on the wrong sides) & at first I didn't use a reference for the heart, so it came out all wrong. Made me redraw the entire thing multiple times... There were like 7 different drawing sessions and to be honest I'm still not 100% happy with it. But y'know, gotta let it out into the world at some point.
An emerging skeleboio! Do you hear the rattling of the bones under your skin? Do you feel the chill up your spine? They have emerged from their flesh prison. They are here :> Be prepared to be spooked! Wow, it's another retouched oldie! Retouched might not be the right word here though... Remade? They look almost nothing alike hahaha. The old one is really old, like way way back old. The new one was made today (29/3/23) and the old one was made on the 1st of August 2016. So yeah. About 7 years apart.
Do not walk into the dark entryway. Do not walk towards the warm sound of her singing voice. Do not look at her. Do not acknowledge her existence. Do not go near her. Do not fall into her arms. Do not fall asleep. Do not dream of her. The dream will never end. Well, that's gruesome! Where do these limbs even start...? This work started as an experiment where I drew over an image created by an early AI image generator, to make it my own. Mine = left, original on the right! Working on this piece I was inspired by Japanese horror, which is such a cool aesthetic to pull from.
