My Art
xAnother oldie that has been touched up! This one has three versions. The touched-up one on the left was made in feb 2023. The others were made in march 2022. This piece was a bit experimental. It started out from a radial gradient with a bunch of colours and I wanted to see what would come out of it whilst still preserving said gradient as much as possible. It's always fun to look through different versions of the same drawing! πβ€π§‘πππ :)
Ha! Another heartbreak one! Title is a reference to The hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy. Burying something that was bad for you, yet being thankful for the good it brought you too. I heard people scrolled past this one since it kinda reads as a photograph. It's not though its fully painted haha. Although i did use some photo ref. This was a good use of my discount chocolate day!
I want to share all my old work, but I often see a lot of imperfections or missed potential. So I can't help but play around with them or touch them up! It'll always be a process! So the one on the left I touched up (today, 13/02/2023), and the one on the right was the version as it was before (25/11/2021).
A piece i had been working on a while back. Was worried I'd get banned from social media for posting it but it was actually fine apparently! Anyhow; it's a drawing depicting a guy getting completely and utterly obliterated. Made this during a breakup, when it felt like my heart had been ripped out, my head pulled off, and my spine torn out. Hands blown off due to the complete and utter helplessness I felt at the situation. (not that the depicted body is mine per se, just drew this to visualise a feeling) I actually really like how the colours came out with the cool tones and the vibrant scarlet.
A digital painting inspired by trips to Hortus Botanicus in Leiden. Whilst the plant is made up, it does have some roots in reality! (If you get what I mean ;) ) It's a mix between an ant and a pitfall plant with some spooky tendrils.
